One of Australia’s leading sealed rail trails runs right through Bright, making the town a natural launch pad for a half-day spin or a multi-day ride.

Riding the trail

• 100km+ of mostly flat, sealed path, ideal for families and e-bikes.
• Key stops: Myrtleford, Beechworth and Wangaratta.
• Cafes, bakeries and cellar doors dot the route.
• Bike hire is easy to arrange in Bright.

Local tip: Bright to Myrtleford and back is a great, achievable day with plenty of coffee stops along the way.
