Dog Friendly Accommodation in Bright

Bringing your dog to Bright? We have three ranges of pet-friendly cabins, with Hotham, Bogong and Buffalo cabins all welcoming dogs. Our powered sites are also dog-friendly, with plenty of space for your setup and your four-legged travel companion.

Dogs are welcome inside and outside our pet-friendly cabins, so you don't have to leave them behind while you explore Bright. There are no breed or size restrictions, although we limit bookings to a maximum of two pets per accommodation or site. We've found this keeps things manageable for everyone and makes for a more comfortable stay.

A $30 per pet, per night fee applies to pet-friendly cabins. When booking online, simply select the number of dogs you're bringing in the guest section and the available pet-friendly accommodation will show as an option.

Dog-Friendly Rules

We love having dogs stay with us, but owners are responsible for their pets throughout their stay. Dogs must be kept under control at all times and on a lead in shared and communal areas. They aren't permitted to be left unattended at your cabin or site.

Owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for any damage, disturbance, injury or additional cleaning caused by their dog's behaviour.

Dog-Friendly Walks Near the Park

One of the best things about staying with your dog at our park is the location. The Ovens River is nearby, and the Rail Trail runs alongside the park, making it easy to get out for a walk without having to pack everyone into the car.

The pine plantations opposite the park are also a popular place to take the dog for a walk. If you're looking to explore further around Bright, the Canyon Walk and Cherry Walk are popular local options, while the Bright Arboretum has a designated off-leash area for dogs.

There are plenty of options around Bright to get some fresh air with your dog, from an easy walk close to the park to heading further out and exploring the area.
